Erin Heighway, M.A., CCC-SLP

Clinical Director
  • Erin is a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).  She graduated from Indiana University with her Masters in 2008 and relocated to Denver in 2010 with her husband, who is a physical therapist.   Erin has worked with Lowry Speech and Occupational Therapy since September 2012 and is our Clinical Director.  She enjoys treating children with expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language and social interaction concerns, stuttering, articulation and apraxia of speech.   Erin completes diagnostic assessments for dyslexia, provides Orton-Gillingham based reading intervention, and helps students learn strategies for reading comprehension and written expression so they can best demonstrate their knowledge in their academic environments.    She is a strong believer that all intervention should focus on not only developing skills but also supporting improved self-confidence and a child’s ability to self-advocate for increased success.  She also works closely with the Occupational Therapy department to support children with sensory processing, attention, and handwriting needs.

On the weekends she can be found spending time with her son, daughter and husband in the mountains.
